Registration for the ambitious scheme ‘Chief Minister Mawan Dhiyaan Satkar Yojana’ to provide monthly financial assistance to women in Punjab will start from April 15.

Daily Samvad, Punjab. Punjab News: Important news is emerging regarding registration for the “Chief Minister Mawan Dhiyaan Satkar Yojana” in Punjab. It is reported that the registration date has been changed.
According to reports, registration for the “Chief Minister Mawan Dhiyan Satkar Yojana,” an ambitious monthly financial assistance scheme for women in Punjab, will begin on April 15. The process was originally scheduled to begin on April 13, Baisakhi, but the date has been changed due to a special assembly session.
Start during the rally
The government will formally launch the scheme during a rally in Adampur, Jalandhar, on April 14. Seven districts—Muktsar, Ropar, Patiala, Sangrur, Moga, Jalandhar, and Faridkot—are included in the initial phase.

Most of these districts are in the Malwa region, while two districts belong to the Doaba region. Under the scheme, women above 18 years of age in the general category will receive ₹1,000 and women in the Scheduled Caste category will receive ₹1,500 per month. The scheme was announced in the budget on March 8.
